The children of Abraham squabble and fight like the worst of siblings. They're closely related as a people if the religious texts can be believed. The picture above is a good one for showing the messed up family tree branching out from Abraham. Jews and Jesus are believed to descend from Isaac whereas Muhammad was descended from his older brother Ishmael. Ishmael's mother was Isaac's mother's handmaid, so that's an interesting relationship dynamic between the descendents.
I don't know much about Islam since I'm a former Christian, but the article about Ishmael in Islam says the religions disagree over which son of Abraham was commanded by God for Abraham to sacrifice. Ironically, Christianity and Islam both claim their chosen ancestor of Isaac or Ishmael as the one God wanted killed. An angel ended up stopping Abraham. Either God wasn't serious about his request or the angel decided to reverse God's command. It wasn't a very loving act of a god to command Abraham to sacrifice his son regardless of the reason.
The children of Jacob/Israel should be embarrassed of their family tree with Jacob/Israel's children from 2 wives and their 2 handmaids. Jacob/Israel stole his birthright from his brother Esau. This was conspired with his mother, so there's another embarrassing family history. God allowed all of this. This is what God selected as the path for developing his chosen people. It isn't a very proud origin story.
My ancestors were European and most likely Christian. If the religious texts are believable then I'm not descended from the chosen people at all. Most Christians and Muslims are descended from a different son of Noah than Abraham's ancestry through Shem. If the following chart is correct then Christians descend from Japheth and Muslims descend from Ham.

You might claim him as your God but you're still not his favorite unless you're a child of Abraham. This is what God and Jesus have both said in the Bible.
Many Christians claim a new covenant was established by Jesus, but the words they base that on weren't the words of Jesus. Even then the new covenant is written in The Bible to be "with the house of Israel and the house of Judah" instead of all believers. The basis for claiming supersessionism is weak. How many people know this? Shouldn't this change their perception of the Abrahamic God when they find out?
The conflicting genealogies of Jesus in Matthew and Luke trace his family back to Abraham and Shem. That information doesn't matter at all. The genealogy is for his father Joseph, but it's presented as the ancestry of Jesus. If Mary was a virgin and Jesus was truly the son of God, then Joseph wasn't his biological father. There isn't a genealogy for Mary as his biological mother unless Luke's version contradicts because that is her family history. Isn't this another clue that genealogies in the Bible can't be trusted? Don't the contradictions add to the fallibility of the Bible?
Regardless of all of these family histories, we still have billions of people who aren't the chosen people. Billions of people follow the 3 major religions of Abraham's children even though they aren't under God's covenant with Abraham. How are any of these stories different from any other mythologies of old? Why is any of this believable and worth killing and dying for, particularly if you're not one of the chosen people anyway?
Look at the map below and think about how likely this is as the origin for all of the races in our modern humanity. The Bible says nothing about each related son of Noah appearing White, Black, and Asian to create our current reality. If their wives were of those pure races and Noah's sons were of one race then the children would be a mixed race. The flood story screws up the biological and DNA histories of humanity.

Biblical geneology focuses mostly on the men even though children always have two parents so that's always one explanation. Maybe their wives were sisters that aren't worth mentioning. Let's skip that problem. A male driven genealogy is inherently inaccurate since only the mother could be proven before DNA testing but that's what the Bible gives us.
This other chart I found puts Middle Eastern people under Shem instead of Ham so people make their own interpretations of it to justify their place in the family tree. They're still not part of the chosen people under Jacob/Israel. This claim groups Europe with Asia and Southwest Asia with Africa. What about the indigenous people of the Americas and Australia? These charts often ignore them.
These charts all comes back to setting aside the children of Abraham as the special chosen people of the Abrahamic God. The Abrahamic God is the exact same God of Jews, Muslims, and Christians. The majority of the people alive today are not the chosen people according to these religions no matter how you break down the children of Noah. Are these stories and our place in these seemingly fictitious family trees worth fighting over?
The people spreading these religions cherry-pick information and messages from their chosen holy book to attract followers for their myths. The more people agree with them then the more it confirms they're right for others to follow. It continues until nobody remembers why they're following the crowd in the first place. If you believe in one of these Abrahamic religions then I hope you can look over this genealogy and see it for the nonsense it appears to be. Compare the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian versions of your God. The Abrahamic God's religious texts are contradictory and don't make sense as the history of humans on this planet.
Whatever is used to debunk a different belief from your own can easily be used to debunk every other belief. Ask a Hindu or Buddhist how their history of humanity differs to gain an alternative religious view. The Abrahamic God beliefs are as silly to them as others view their beliefs.
The blind faith followers of all religions are better served with science and the facts we gather with the scientific method. These will reveal a real truth and a real history free from primitive superstitions.
Historical movements of people have been described for 4000-5000 years, far longer than the time claimed to exist after the recession of the Flood waters and the beginning of recorded history.
